FAQ
1. HOW IT WORKS
In appearance, BookLed is a normal book with thick card pages. At the
top of the book, there is a small USB port and switch: BookLed is a
book made of paper, card, and electronics.
The technological core of the BookLed is a page identification sensor:
using a system of magnets, the book is able to recognize which page the
user is reading and detect the turning from one page to the next.
Every page turn sends the page number to your PC via USB, where Python code takes over. It calls the OpenAI API, unleashing the power of generative AI to enrich and expand your storytelling experience!
All the code for BookLed is open source and can be downloaded from GitHub.
2. I NEED AN LLM TO WORK?
Yes, to experiment with generative AI codes you need an OpenAI API account.
In the future we will provide plugins to use any LLM through Cheshire Cat .
3. CAN I BUY THE BOOK?
Yes, to use the open source codes available on github, you need to use a bookled that you can purchase on Tindie .
